Away in a Manger Challenge
Imagine that this manger contains a newborn baby. Is it a boy? Is it a girl? Is it a human child... or something else?
Your challenge is to write a fic that begins with a baby being lifted out of a manger. Perhaps it's an abandoned baby, or maybe it was put their by their parent for a live nativity scene, or something else entirely (if so, does your plot involve mad scientists? aliens on the run? errant fairies?)? Let us know when and where and why!
Please submit your fics, either as a whole story submitted as a document to this e-mail address nurseryfiles@mulderscreek.com or email a link to a completed story or WIP hosted elsewhere, by 12/24/2019. You are welcome to post your story to A03, FFnet, and/or tumblr too, but you need to submit it here as well (and please mention in your notes that it was written for this challenge)
