For Christmas 2010 your challenge is to go into your secret lab and clone a character. ::insert mad scientist laugh here::

Challenge Requirements:
- As the holidays approach, a character encounters an unusual infant or child: he or she is a clone of one of the canon characters! Is it Emily's clone? Luke Doggett's? William's? One of the adults who died along the way in canon? Mulder or Scully themselves? You tell us!

- Just as importantly, what happens to the young clone? Or clones, if it suits your tale to make more than one clone of the same character/to clone multiple characters.

- Please have at least 1/3rd of this tale set at Christmas/Christmas Eve.

- optional. If you can explain how, feel free to swap the clone's genders (if a DNA test on Spender can make people think he was Mulder in "William," I'm sure you can give at least as good an explanation for how a clone can be the opposite sex).
