Summary: Scully tells Mulder she's pregnant.

Dedicated to: My doctors. The inspiration for this perverse story came from suffering from the side affects of the pill. *groan, heave*

Maggie Scully sat outside the door of her daughter's apartment. She looked toward the elevator when she heard it ding. She stood up quickly. "Fox, thank goodness you're here," she said as Mulder approached her.

"What happened?" he questioned.

"Well, I knocked several times. When she didn't answer I used my key to go in. I was going to leave a message. I walked in the door and she started throwing things at me and yelling at me. What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know," he said, taking off his jacket and gun. He looked at at Mrs. Scully and handed her the firearm. "I'm going in there."

He opened the door and walked in. Within seconds things came flying at him from the corner and he heard his partner screaming at him. "Get out Mulder!!"

"No way Dana!" he yelled back.

She hesitated a moment before standing up aiming her gun at him. "I'll shoot you."

"No you won't."

She collapsed to the ground crying.. Mulder walked over to her and knelt down holding her. He spoke quietly to her. "It's okay Dana, whatever's wrong, we'll take care of it together. I promise."

"I'm so sorry," she sobbed.

"Hey," he said, "you have nothing to be sorry for. Just tell me what's wrong."

"But I threw stuff at my mom. I told her to get out." She buried her head into his chest and continued crying.

"Dana, why do you think I'm here? Your mom called me. She was worried. She's not mad at you. In fact, she's outside waiting to see you."

She looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy. "She is?"

"Yeah, can I let her in? I'm sure she's worried sick about you right now."

"I'll go let her in myself." She stood up and started to walk to the door. Then she suddenly turned and ran to the bathroom.

Mulder, surprised, followed her. He found her heaving into the toilet. He began rubbing her back hoping to make her feel better. After she was done he got her a glass of water. He crouched down so that he was at the same level as her. "Dana, what's wrong?"

"My mom, did you let her in yet?"

She was being stubborn as usual, but Mulder decided to let it pass, this time. "No, do you want me to?"

"Yes please. I'll just...wait right here."

"Okay," he said then left the bathroom to let Maggie Scully into the apartment.

He opened the door and found Maggie standing there looking very concerned. "Fox, is she okay?"

"She's in the bathroom. I still don't know why she reacted the way she did. But when she got up to let you in she suddenly turned tail and headed to the bathroom and started praying to the porcelain god. I don't know what's wrong. She's being stubborn, as usual."

Maggie nodded and said, "I think I'll go see how she's doing. Why don't you see if you can find some soda crackers in any of her cupboards."

Mulder went to the kitchen while Maggie went to the bathroom. She arrived to find Dana sitting on the floor with her head resting on her knees. "Dana, honey, what's wrong?"

Scully looked up at the sound of her mother's voice. "Oh mom, I'm so sorry."

Maggie sat down next to her and put an arm around her shoulders. "Honey, it's okay. Now tell me what is wrong."

Mulder appeared in the doorway with a box of Saltines. He handed them to Scully. "Maybe these will help settle your stomach."

Scully gave him a small smile. "Thanks Mulder."

"Dana, will you please tell me what is wrong," her mother pleaded. "You can't tell me this is the flu. The flu doesn't cause violent tendencies."

"I don't have the flu mom. I'm pregnant."

Maggie Scully was too surprised to notice Mulder suddenly leaning against the doorway having great trouble keeping upright.

"Pregnant? I didn't know you'd even been in a relationship. So who's the father." She was trying very hard not to sound upset. But she didn't like the idea of her little girl being pregnant out of wedlock. Oh well, a shotgun wedding would have to do.

Suddenly Mulder spoke up. "I'm the father." And then promptly fainted.

Dana rushed over to him while Maggie just sat there in utter and complete shock.

"Mulder, Fox, come on, wake up."

Slowly Mulder regained consciousness and looked at Scully. "Oh my God."

Scully looked at him sympathetically. "So much for keeping our relationship a secret," she said.

He sat up and looked Scully in the eyes. "You're really pregnant?"

She nodded and smiled. He smiled and gave her a huge hug. "We're going to have a baby Dana."

Maggie had finally regained her voice. "Okay, I can handle you two having a baby, just tell me you were planning on getting married."

Fox and Dana looked at each other, communicating silently. Then Mulder turned to Maggie and nodded. "Yeah, we're going to get married." Then he turned to Dana. "And we're going to have a baby."

And they just sat there for a while holding each other. Maggie got up and went to the kitchen to make lunch for all of them. After all, they had a wedding to plan. And quickly.

The End

Author's Note: Okay, so it really sucks. But I just wanted to write a quickie. I was bored.
