Mulder's Journey Challenge

Write us a story where a bit of heart-rending news in Mulder and Scully's personal life prompts Mulder to embark on a multi-state journey to locate other children created from Scully's ova.

Have him locate at least three living children or teenagers that share Scully's DNA.

And at least one of them is very happy with the family that has raised him or her.

Will Scully meet that child or any of the others?

Note: your story can be set at any time between December 1997 and February 2022, so AU stories are of course welcome.
