It Came From the Science Fair Challenge

In your story a school science fair gets the attention of someone, or maybe something, powerful, and which ever project gets their attention is the coolest one at the science fair…and if you’re a kid, the coolest are also the most dangerous, right?

Maybe this powerful person or supernatural being is malevolent so what happens next is on purpose, or maybe he/she/it’s simply clueless and what happens is a complete an accident, but either way the coolest of science projects comes to life and begins to wreak havoc!

Now there’s an active volcano or desert or mummies or dinosaurs or sharks or killer bees or comet or something else from a child’s science fair project causing massive problems.

Send an X-Files character to investigate - unless he or she was already there because the science fair was at their child’s school. And make sure there are lots of kids as the grown up struggle to get everything back under control.
