A Hanukkah Miracle Challenge

In addition to being about family and togetherness, Hanukkah is also in part a celebration of the miracle of one container of oil, meant for a single night, lasting the Maccabees eight nights.

While we’re not going to ask you to write about that miracle, we’d like you to set your story during the week of Hanukkah (any year, but you’ll want to look up the dates for your year), include Mulder celebrating at least two nights of Hanukkah with Scully and their offspring with them lighting the menorah and him cooking a seasonal favorite, and the investigation of a modern miracle.

The miracle in question can be a official X-Files case, or something Mulder and Scully investigate unofficially off the clock with the kid/s, or experience personally.

Note: Hanukkah is in late November this year but you can submit your challenge fics between now and New Years Eve, just like the Christmas challenge that will be posted in a few weeks.
