You will be writing a story set at Halloween in 2021 in this challenge. Mulder and Scully’s new daughter or son is approximately three years old today, and like all three-year-olds they’re too young to grasp what makes a “normal” Halloween given their pre-pandemic memories of Halloween 2019 when they were a year old are hazy if they exist at all.

And given she or he is three, they don’t know all the rules that make up what we consider normal. They certainly don’t know that having the ghost of their older sister visit them at Halloween isn’t part of normal. Emily might know, but she’s also thrilled to get to spend time with a sibling now just her age.

How do Scully and Mulder - and optionally William - feel when they see Emily, though?

Note: October 31, 2021 does not need to be the first time Baby Mulder (or anyone else in your story) sees Emily’s ghost
