Just One More Challenge

Let's face it, having kids eighteen years apart in age is very, very different from having kids close in age. Even if they find out that Jackson|William is still alive and have a relationship with him, Mulder and Scully's baby is basically being raised an only child. Or are they?

Your challenge:

Although your story's plot can be about anything you'd like happening in very late 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 or 2022, your challenge will be to give Baby Mulder a near-in-age sibling no more than three years older or younger. But, unless this sibling was born a few months before to during season 10 or early in season 11, Scully did not give birth to him or her.

That leaves you with both a traditional adoption or an X-Files sort of way for adding the new addition to the family if he or she is younger than our canon Baby Mulder or more than about eighteen months older. We're sure you'll think of something.

- You can choose to or not to include Jackson|William in your story.

- If you'd like you can also include a prologue if Scully was pregnant with baby Mulder's sibling due to a revival AU.

Note on the sibling being one up to three years older or younger: Hopefully it's obvious, but the later in time you set your story, the older Baby Mulder and their sibling can be, with December 2022 offering the option of age four for baby Mulder and ages at least age one to at most age seven for their non-canon sibling. And to the other extreme, if the story was set in the fall or December of 2018 you could have both be tiny babies if our non-canon kiddo was adopted or X-File'd into the family.
