The Woman in Bed B Challenge

Today you'll be writing a story in which Scully is in a shared hospital room after the birth of baby Mulder, which granted is a bit atypical in the US these days. It's up to you to come up with the reason Scully's not in a private room: be it her choice or by necessity, she has a roommate (though odds are overwhelming that each mother would've given birth privately, even if sharing a room until they go home.) Please note, however, that if you decide to divulge the reason for the moms sharing the room you'll probably need to have it be revealed in a bit of dialogue, not necessarily Scully's dialogue to the story's main character, it can be overheard, because -

- your challenge is to write a story from the point of view of Scully's temporary roommate, who has also just given birth herself. She probably talks to Scully at least a bit, and also gets to see who does and doesn't come to see Scully and the baby. What is her impression of them? Tell us!
