| I don't know about you, Dear Writer, but I found Jackson's season 11 description of his childhood depressing. Scully's son deserved better. You're going to give him better.
Your challenge is to devise an X-Fileish way to give William|Jackson a second chance at a happy childhood. Maybe it's sending a message into the past to warn 2001-2002 Scully not to give him up or a trip through time to steal him back from the Van De Kamps. Maybe Jackson encounters some technology that de-ages him. Maybe it involves reincarnation. Maybe your method is something else entirely that is nevertheless scifi in nature. So write us a scifi story that is at least partly set after "Ghouli" that by the end involves a teenage William either growing up happily as a result of his second chance or as a young adult post-series having grown up happily after his second chance.
