Although Skinner was happy to help Scully rescue Mulder during I Want to Believe, they didn't have a lot of time to catch up. In fact, Skinner didn't get to share his big news with them – since he'd seen them last, he'd become a dad!

So set your story between IWTB and My Struggle IV (either literally any time between those episodes or as a missing scene for either one), and have Skinner finally get the chance to tell them all about his son or daughter who entered his life after The Truth.

Things to consider as you pen your tale

• Is Skinner Jr. a boy or a girl?
• Is it Skinner's biological child or adopted?
• Is Skinner a single dad, or does he have a spouse helping him raise their child? If he's married, is she or he anyone that they know?
